Waupaca Foundry Earns Ford Q1 Certification

A Flag Raising Ceremony Marked The Occasion

Waupaca Foundry—Tell City has earned Q1 Certification from Ford Motor Company, confirming Waupaca Foundry consistently delivers high quality castings on time to Ford customers and is a milestone in the pursuit of quality. A formal flag-raising ceremony was held on November 2, 2017.

Waupaca Foundry supplies both gray iron and ductile iron castings to Ford Motor Company used in braking, suspension, driveline and powertrain.

In a joint letter to Waupaca Foundry Plant Manager, Kenlely Hansen and President, COO and CEO, Mike Nikolai, Ford Motor Company Director of Supplier Technical Assistance, Paul Randle had this to say:

"We congratulate Waupaca Foundry for this achievement and look forward to seeing the results of your efforts in the quality of the vehicles we produce."
